I adore a new project and this has been one of my absolute favourites to get stuck into! I've designed our journals for you: our brand new teachers! I look back on my first year of teaching and I really wish I had written more down: the golden memories; the funny things children did and said: the priceless advice I received; and the things I achieved.
Our reflective journal is designed to do all of that and more: keeping you on track, motivated and reflective throughout your first year of teaching.
Our reflective journal is split into 5 sections:
Dear Future Me: a space to set some goals and aspirations.
My First: a place to remember all the 'firsts' in your first year of teaching such as first display, first school trip, first lesson, as well as space to record your own examples. Imagine looking back on this in years to come!
Happy Place: a place to record all the lovely things you experience in your first year including positive feedback and the 'Wow' moments.
Teachers never stop learning: a place to record great advice from colleagues and some of the lessons that didn't quite go to plan but you learned a lot from.
Reflective space: there's space to write a little reflection for each week, as well as a few activities to end your year.
