Our range of teacher journals and records are here! While we design our Teacher Planners to be a one stop shop for your organisational needs, we know that many of you take on extra roles as well as your classroom teaching, or you use a different planner, like our Daily Planner or Weekly Planner - or maybe you work in a school in a different role so your work has different needs.
We’ve created these journals to supplement your main planner, and be a place where you can keep specific kinds of notes and records together in one place. All of these are available in our 4 brand colours: pink, yellow, blue and mint, and are A4. Let’s take a look at the range so you can see if any of these would be helpful for your role:
Leadership Journal

Our Leadership Journal is designed for teachers and members of the senior leadership team who are subject leaders or school leaders. It has everything you need to manage this area of your role, separate to your day to day teaching responsibilities, and to make sure your area of leadership is progressing throughout the school year.
It has numbered pages and a full contents page, so you can always find what you need. It has different tabbed sections, including six termly sections which are labelled Term 1 to Term 6, but these are undated so you can use them flexibly. The journal has space for you to plan the upcoming year and think about what you want to achieve and how you’ll manage and track it. There’s a year calendar (undated) and a long term action plan with space to plan things like your action’s impact, timescale, and resources, and then evaluate it.
Each of the six term sections has a place to manage your leadership time, a short term action plan, a learning walk log, work monitoring record, pupil voice record, and a space to evaluate the term and make future plans. After these sections, there’s an organisational tools section with pages for ideas, moderation, timetables, a place to track resources and CPD, and lots of notes pages. This journal is a great way to manage your leadership role, keep the work separate from your other responsibilities, keep all of your notes and ideas in one place, and acts as great evidence of your leadership.

Feedback & Assessment Record

Our Feedback & Assessment Record is designed for teachers to help you streamline your feedback process. You can track the performance of your entire class in one place, so you can identify patterns and find new opportunities for learning and adapt your teaching strategy to the needs of your class.
The Record book contains 143 feedback sheets, which allow you to assess individual lessons or a unit of work. It has sections to note things like common misconceptions or errors, the next steps in learning, and any support needed. This is a great, centralised way to track how your students are doing and means you can refer to this when planning future lessons, to make sure you’re covering any gaps in learning or revisiting tricky areas. There are also 20 double page assessment records, which have space for 35 students on each page. You can use these to track all kinds of areas of learning, from noting down results from tests and assessments, to ticking off which children have met lesson criteria.
The Feedback & Assessment Record can be used really flexibly depending on your role, so it’s great for a wide range of educational staff. Primary teachers can use it across subjects to manage the learning of their entire class, while secondary school teachers could use it to manage many different classes in different year groups, who will all be at different stages in the curriculum. It can also work really well for teaching assistants, one to one support staff, and tutors who work with small groups.

Student Record

Our Student Record is specifically designed to help teachers to manage each student’s individual progress throughout the school year, to help support their learning and to forward plan. We’ve included lots of different kinds of tracking and records pages so you have it all in one place, and there’s space for up to 238 students. This means it’s ideal for all kinds of teachers, from primary to secondary, as well as SENDCOs and learning support staff.
The record has numbered pages with a fully numbered contents page, so you can easily find what you need. It includes a year overview which is dated flexibly (just numbers, no days of the week) which means you can use this across multiple years if you prefer. There are transition notes pages with space for up to 212 students, ideal for secondary teachers or primary teachers to use across multiple years. Then there are lots of pages which are ideal for tracking a student’s progress throughout the year, including a record of achievement, individual targets, a parent communication log, assessment log, (with space for 11 classes, or 385 students), records pages, intervention plans, and group planning pages.
